I am speechless....I have just received a message with the total amount of money we raised on behalf of TEAM ENZO for Progeria Research Foundation last weekend.
I would have never thought that the initial idea of getting together with a bunch of brazilian girls on a monthly basis and dance to some of the song we used to " a few" years ago.....would turn into regular fundraisers. During our 2nd lesson it was suggested our next class should support PRF....and once again... wonders of destiny. Our search for a venue for our class turned into an invitation to have a brazilian sweets stall over the weekend at La Bomba ' s fringe. At first we wondered if we could pull it off....but we were soon overwhelmed with messages from sooo many people offering to bake and donate amazing treats......each of them made with so much love and care for little Enzo and his beautiful family. Today.....I have been informed of the total amount raised:
If dancing with a bunch of funny girls wasn't enough.....we have created this circle of love and giving which I am so very grateful to be a part of. Thank you to each and everyone of you who have in some way supported our crazy ideas....and special thank you to the amazing Juliana Bernardi Munro for organising us all.
